Erin is an accomplished business development professional and writer with over three decades of experience. She has BA in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and an MA in Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University. She has worked for a variety of health and social services organizations and large companies and has led hundreds of complex government proposals affecting millions of lives. While forging professional success, she faced multiple struggles in her personal life. A successful and climbing career was interrupted by addiction and mental health challenges, compounded by other significant personal traumas.  

Drawing from her lived experiences and with trauma-informed care and access to it at the forefront of her work, Erin has gained invaluable insights into the gaps within the healthcare system, particularly in the treatment of behavioral disorders. She had faced firsthand the challenges of navigating these systems as a middle-income American and single mother without local family support. Her experiences underscore the need for more accessible and proactive care for individuals and families in similar situations.
